We were contacted on May 10th to see if we could possibly assist a 7.5+ month old female (born November 16th, 2009) Saint Bernard puppy in Ohio, USA. If BHRR did not step up to assist, she was at high risk of being dumped at a shelter and/or pts. She is currently being boarded at the Celina Pet Centre while her transport for this weekend to BHRR is being arranged. ETA is expected Sunday afternoon. Any assistance to help pay for her boarding fees and to ensure she is up to date on shots and has a valid Health Certificate to cross into Canada; would be so appreciated! You can pay by PayPal or email transer to gwen@birchhaven.org. Sean shall not be attending our ‘BRING YOUR DOG TO THE MOVIES’ Fundrasier this Sunday May 16th in order to meet the transport in Kingston to bring her back to BHRR. This is what we have been told to date on Lily Belle and I have posted one of her photos below.

She is house trained but loves to play outside, very good/loves with kids(Owners says they have 9 grandchildren), and ok with cats(has a play drive and tries to lick them). She has not had her around other dogs, and she is not spayed. . Her owners are moving from a country setting into a small house in town. The real issue, however, is that the husband has become wheel chair dependent and can longer care for Lily Belle while his wife is away at work. Worse, they are very concerned that in her puppy exuberance she will knock him over, or pull him out of his wheel chair.

NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!
