Her last 'test' was the Pet Valu Community Education & Awareness event that she attended with BHRR's Kris Kringle and was a great ambassador to BHRR and to her breed on Saturday January 12th, 2013 at Pet Valu in Stittesville!

WHAT a real sweetie and great with all people and dogs!!! She was ONE social butterfly…fluttering here and flitting there and wanting to shop and greet everyone! LOL She even liked to shop! 😉

We were talking about how some of the staff owned pot belly pigs and one of our approved foster homes came in and they also own a pot belly pig and within seconds, guess what walked through the door??? A pot belly pig! COULD not believe it! BHRR's Cherry was amazing with the pig and made herself as small as she could be to convince the pig to play with her.

She had a great day, WOWED everyone with how far she has come during her rehab at BHRR and I think stole a few hearts in the process. 😉

She can go to a home with cats, others dogs, kids, a home that works pt, ft, from home, semi-retired, retired etc. She is yet another very versatile dog! :)

She also just showed all how amazing her obedience has now become since she arrived to BHRR and under Gwennie's Doggie Boot Camp! :)

She has proven 100% trustworthy in our home and other than still needing to put on a few more pounds, she is not in a critical emaciated state and is just a bit skinny and that will come. JUST do not leave socks out….or things on the counter for she will counter surf and will swallow socks!!!

Below are some photos from her amazing day at Pet Valu and some before and after shots during her rehab at BHRR!
