Pet Valu – Oct 4 & 5

Breanne from Pet Valu in Stittesville(1250 Rue Stittsville Main) has chosen BHRR to be the recipients again of Pet Valu's "THANKS FOR GIVING' Event.

AND, from October 1st – October 16th they shall be collecting donations for BHRR – Items that BHRR is in need off:
$$ For Bills, Dino Smoked Bones; Dog Crates, XPens; Lysol Wipes, Pinesol, Bath Mats & Laundry Soap

During this time they will be selling 'PUMPKINS' THROUGHOUT that time & collecting donations! Your monetary donation will give you a pumpkin to put your name and/or your pet's name(s) on and, be proudly displayed at PV Stittsville!

BHRR is so excited to have been chosen again! So many wonderful r/q groups out there and a privilege to have been selected!

BHRR shall be at their locale (1250 Rue Stittsville Main) on Saturday October 4th from 10 AM – 3 PM & also Sunday October 5th  from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM to take this incredible opportunity for a community and public awareness venue! This is our THIRD official public awareness event for 2014! At the end of 2013, it was decided that we would only do 6 MAX. and we are very content with having booked 4.

For $5.00 you can get your cat, dog and/or exotic immortalized

*Adoption & Volunteer Applications – BHRR WILL NOT be doing any on-site adoptions. This is not something supported by BHRR
*Donation Box whereby all funds donated shall to go BHRR Vet & Rehab Bills
*Knowledgeable and friendly Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions regarding:

  • the importance of spay/neutering
  • the importance of microchipping
  • the importance of obedience
  • why animals end up in rescue/shelters/pounds etc.
  • HOW you can help!
  • supporting only reputable/quality Rescues and Breeders
  • how to research when seeking to add a new addition
  • owning a Giant Breed – Great Dane, Saint Bernard, Great Pyrenees, Irish Wolfhound, Newfoundland, English Mastiff or Deerhound
