2024 marks our 22nd annual BHRR Secret Santa to the BHRR Animals! So many other groups out there are now implementing in their own organizations; a similar SS event enabling many deserving animals to be given a very special and spoiling XMAS! We are thrilled to see this unique idea of BHRR’s expanding to encompass others in need.
As many know, each year; we do our best to ensure that every animal in our BHRR program receives a Secret Santa gift, and if anyone wishes to be a 2023 Secret Santa to the animals in our program, it would be deeply appreciated!!!
We have BHRR’s Olive, Jamila, Leah, Knox, Maybelle Cutie, Albar, Fred, Romeo, James, Aramis, Chrissy, Porthos, Athos, Rosie, Lilly, Giselle, Caramel, Lewis, Ernie, & Brooklyn, would really appreciate any ‘Secret’ Santa friends.

Please EMAIL if you are interested in helping to give a dog a very special XMAS! Many of these dogs have never had a day of love until BHRR.
We try to make their XMAS just as special and spoil them as we can, and any assistance from any extra Secret Santa’s out there; would be so wonderful. You can contact Gwen for details if you would like to participate and to set up a mutually convenient date for drop-off at her work in Kanata.
Some mail and others drop-off in our donation shed in Oxford Station at the road, across from the mailbox.
Many others do take the opportunity to try and attend our Annual December ‘CHAIN OF SUCCESS Potluck in December; to visit with us, well, ok, more like the animals at BHRR 😉 and to drop off their gifts at that time.

For those that are interested and have not participated in the past in the BHRR SS, people tend to handle it one of four ways:
1) they either pick one or two animals in our program(s) and do a special SS package(s) or stocking(s) for them of items OR
2) some people put together a small box or parcel or Rubbermaid full of all sorts of items of toys, treats, dog beds etc. for all the animals to share OR
3) they send Gift Cards OR
4) they paypal(please send as a ‘friend & family’ option, or we are dinged PayPal fees) or email transfer funds to contactbhrr@gmail.com for BHRR to purchase items.
